I love reading your posts. As I've said before, your experiences resonate with me from my many years working as a volunteer in a prison. I especially related this time with how you handle knowing what the person's crime is and how you separate that from their humanity (which you want and need to relate to), and how hard it is sometimes. Especially when it's murder. I love how that came across in this post. Thanks again.
I always find your work and writing interesting, and now will read a new Stephen King book that I had not before consudered.
Thanks so much for reading and commenting!
Excellent post! You showed so well the headspaces you juggle when you're with the men. And I'm so glad you write along with them.
I will be hanging till you let us know about P! What a story, and what a life.
I didn't teach this past week but should find out how the it went for P in a couple of days. Thanks, as always, for reading!
